This Master Class focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex, real-world water issues that technicians regularly encounter but don’t always have a clear framework for fixing. Participants will work through structured troubleshooting methods for persistent problems such as high bather loads, combined chlorine, recurring algae, staining and unexplained water instability. The emphasis is on understanding cause and effect, not product pushing.
This Master Class takes participants beyond basic hydraulics and into how modern pool systems actually behave in the field. It explores flow optimisation, variable speed pump set up, hydraulic efficiency and how small design or installation issues can cause ongoing performance problems. Attendees will learn how to diagnose circulation faults that often present as water quality or equipment issues, helping reduce energy use and repeat visits.
This Mater Class is designed for those running or managing pool service businesses, this workshop focuses on sustainable growth through better pricing, communication and customer experience. It looks at how technical expertise translates into perceived value, how to structure services profitably, and how to build long-term client relationships in a competitive market.
This session focuses on understanding and applying effective sanitisation strategies across a range of pool and spa systems. Participants will explore the principles of pathogen control and compare traditional methods such as chlorine and salt chlorination with alternative, low-chemical and mineral-based approaches. The session will also address common misconceptions around “chemical-free” pools and provide practical guidance for diagnosing water quality issues across different sanitisation systems. The emphasis is on making informed, system-based decisions rather than relying on assumptions or trends.
