Poolwerx appoints US chief operating officer

Poolwerx has appointed Marla Mock as chief operating officer of their US operations.

Mock brings extensive franchise expertise to her new role, with experience leading top home service brands including ServiceMaster, Rainbow Restoration, Aire Serv and Molly Maid.

Poolwerx global executive director Steve Greenbaum says that Mock has built a reputation for strengthening franchise operations, elevating systemwide performance, and fostering strong, trust-based relationships with franchise owners.

“Poolwerx is entering an exciting phase of growth across the US, and Marla brings the leadership experience and expertise to help us scale the right way,” says Greenbaum.

“She has an excellent track record supporting franchise owners, strengthening operations and building high-performing teams across leading home-service brands. Marla understands what franchisees need to succeed, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the Poolwerx leadership team.”

Mock says she is thrilled to join Poolwerx at such a pivotal moment in its US expansion.

Meanwhile, Poolwerx announced it is targeting San Antonio, Texas for franchise growth as the brand continues expanding in high-growth markets across the US.

The move comes as Texas continues to stand out as a leading market for franchise development. According to the International Franchise Association’s 2026 Franchising Economic Outlook, Texas ranks as the top state for franchise growth and is home to more than 86,000 franchise locations employing more than 910,000 people.
