IRLearning delivers Aquatic Technical Operator program at Raging Waters Sydney

March 12th, 2026

In February, IRLearning delivered its Aquatic Technical Operator program to the team at Raging Waters Sydney.

Rachael Bambry, executive manager of training at IRLearning, says that this delivery was tailored, making it even better as it was fully contextualised to their site, including their specific plant room equipment, operational processes and the chemicals and systems they use day to day.

“We love delivering this kind of practical, industry-led training,” she says. “Training that’s relevant, hands-on and directly aligned to real workplace outcomes. A big thank you to the Raging Waters team for the warm welcome and commitment to professional development and safe aquatic operations.”

The face-to-face delivery ran over two days. The first day was classroom-based and covered the theory components of the Aquatic Technical Operator skill set. The second day was poolside, where the practical assessment components were filmed.

Participants will receive the nationally recognised Aquatic Technical Operator Skill Set once they complete the remaining assessment tasks, which are finished after the two-day training.
