Royal Life Saving NSW to host Emerging Swim Teachers Swimposium in Eastern Sydney
Royal Life Saving NSW’s Emerging Swim Teachers Swimposium will be held on Wednesday September 30 at Cranbrook School Swimming Pool, Bellevue Hill.
Designed for new and emerging swim teachers, the Swimposium aims to build confidence, develop practical teaching skills and help the participants become more effective learn to swim teachers. It includes both hands-on workshops and pool-based learning.
It is a one-day event bringing together experienced presenters and passionate aquatic professionals to help new swim teachers develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to deliver engaging, effective and safe swimming lessons.
Participants will experience hands-on teaching strategies, discover innovative approaches to lesson delivery, explore techniques for managing different learner needs, and hear from industry experts who have successfully built rewarding careers in aquatic education.
The Swimposium also provides the opportunity to connect with other emerging swim teachers, share experiences, ask questions and become part of a supportive professional network.
Time: September 30, 2026, 9:30am to 4:00pm.
